Apply Silicone Sealant Around The Bathtub

Redoing the silicone sealant around your bathtub is easy enough to do yourself. After removing the old sealant, cut off the end of the applicator tube at a 45-degree angle. That will make it easier to get the tip of the silicone into the space where the wall and bathtub meet. Place the nozzle of the applicator right up against the wall and tub. While squeezing gently, slowly move the tip of the applicator forward, following the edge where the wall and tub meet. For a nicer finish, wet your finger and run it over the top of the silicone sealant to smooth out the silicone.
