Chair Lift

A chair lift (sometimes called a ski lift) is the main form of transportation for skiers, because it is primarily found on hilly terrain; but, it can also be found at amusement parks. This form of arial lift uses a type of steel cable on a loop which has several seats for passengers. The cable is stretched around a series of steel posts, with the seats placed on the cable by a type of roller. The size of the seat varies; there are two-seaters, three-seaters, four-seaters and six-seaters. To get on the chair lift, you move into the loading area, and stand in front of the approaching chair, then sit. More info: chair lift NJ
